When I knew Jason was "the one", I started searching for venues right away…and dresses and flowers and EVERYTHING! Our first visit to Seven Sycamores was during a bridal show where we were able to tour the ranch and meet vendors which helped us tremendously! Still, there was not a ring on my finger so I didn't push too hard (although I was dying inside, hoping and praying that my future husband loved SS as much as he loved me). Little did I know that Jason not only loved the ranch, but also had a very romantic surprise planned – just a few weeks after the bridal show, he took me to the ranch and proposed under the big oak tree! Imagine me delight when my love not only booked the venue for our wedding, but also coordinated the proposal in the same spot where we would exchange vows!
Kelly Maxwell, the Wedding/Ranch Manager, was so sweet to open the ranch to our proposal. She even hid in the bushes and waited for our late arrival, snapping some great pictures of Jason proposing! From that moment on, we felt at home on the ranch. It is peaceful, serene, lovely and everything we wanted in an outdoor venue…not to mention the amazing staff that went above and beyond to make us feel as though we were the most important couple in the world. It was easy – too easy – to get in touch with Kelly at any time of day and with her help, we were able to coordinate a beautiful wedding. Now, a year later, we still receive compliments on our beautiful location and many of our friends loved the ranch so much that they too had their weddings there.
The icing on the cake is that shortly after our wedding, I was contacted by Kelly who asked me to help coordinate the weddings on the ranch. It brings me such joy each weekend to assist other couples in their journey down the aisle. Sharing that special place with them, sharing my wedding story and being able to celebrate their adventure are what I love the most about working at the ranch. Kelly and the staff were once coordinators, owners and site managers who helped us plan our beautiful day but they have now become dear friends and Seven Sycamores has become more than a wedding venue to me and my husband – it's a little slice of Heaven, our piece of bliss. Seven Sycamores Ranch was PERFECT! I had looked at a few other places before I decided on Seven Sycamores. Your location had it all. Privacy, atmosphere, customer service! I had my heart set on an outdoor wedding in a garden setting. The gazebo and pergola were amazing! It actually had a place where we could dance! And I LOVE the big oak tree in the middle with the barrel lights.
Kelly was amazing. I emailed her about a million times and she always got back to me right away and answered all my questions! The built in bar saved us some money on renting our own. It is great that they have the tables and chairs there already! I have nothing to complain about! Seven Sycamores helped make my wedding dreams a reality! I'm very happy. ~ Joni Flores
